Volunteer Knit Apparel, Inc. was established in September 1986 as a contract knitting operation. In 1989, the company expanded to its present location, and became a vertical mill operation. Knitting, bleaching, cutting, sewing, packaging and shipping of basic knitwear is done at our location in New Tazewell, TN. A dye operation is performed in Knoxville, TN.

There are 165 employees in 138,500 square feet of manufacturing space.
